孔子，姓丘，山东曲阜人。作为儒家思想的创始人，他提倡仁、义、礼、智、信。他有弟子三千，门生七十二人。

Confucius, named Qiu, was born in Qufu, Shandong. As the founder of the Confucianism, he advocated benevolence, righteousness, propriety, wisdom and trustworthiness. He had three thousand disciples and seventy-two outstanding students.

孔子的思想被他的弟子汇编成《论语》一书，后人说“《论语》的一半‘治天下’”。孔子晚年整理了《诗经》《尚书》《春秋》等古代文化经典。

Confucius' thoughts were compiled by his disciples into the book "The Analects of Confucius", and later generations said that "half of the "Analects of Confucius" governs the world". In his later years, Confucius sorted out ancient cultural classics such as "Book of Songs", "Shangshu", "Spring and Autumn Annals".

孔子是人类文明史上一座光辉的丰碑，他承继了过去，又迎来了未来。在儒家四大圣贤中，他被视为“至圣”。
